Hi, I'm Anika!
I'm a wife, proud mom to the sweetest baby boy, and a passionate advocate for supporting parents through their most transformative journey—parenthood. As a birth and postpartum doula, I guide new and expecting parents with compassionate, hands-on care, helping them navigate the physical and emotional challenges of birth and the postpartum period.
In addition to my doula work, I’m also a certified nutritionist specializing in a holistic approach to healing using Ayurvedic foods. I believe that nourishing the body with natural, wholesome ingredients can promote deep, lasting recovery after childbirth. My approach combines ancient wisdom with modern wellness principles to support moms in feeling their best during this important time.
With a background in yoga, I bring a mindful, body-centered approach to my birth support, helping mothers connect with their bodies, find calm, and embrace the power within. Whether you're preparing for birth, recovering postpartum, or looking for holistic nutritional support, I'm here to walk with you every step of the way.
I believe that one cannot pour from an empty cup. So, as a doula, I have my sight set on helping the birthing parent and their partners as they navigate the experience of childbearing. I encourage every parent I have the privilege of working with to also focus on their well being, not only that of the baby. For me, the goal is to educate, empower, and guide families through the beautiful and life-changing journey of having a child.
My process involves creating a calming atmosphere for pregnant parent and nursing mothers to help them express themselves. I balance careful observation with evidence-based conversations in providing personalized support for every parent under my care.
